The preview we gave the journalists began at Opel’s test facility at Dudenhofen. This is a great facility. Then we did some driving on their circle track and ride-and-handling loops on at this facility – can’t show you photos of those, as security is strict and we were aiming to be courteous guests of our Opel partners.
The shot you see here in front of the main building in which we conducted in-depth discussions on the car’s design and technology with the journalists.

Whether on U.S. soil or testing on the German autobahn, this car is phenomenal! I visited the Lansing production facility earlier this week and actually located the car I ordered in June and saw it as it was being assembled. I even had the opportunity to briefly drive one around the factory grounds and all I can say is that it is an amazing vehicle. I'm trading in a current generation C - class and there simply isnt any comparison in terms of design, roominess, power, technology, etc... The look of this car is even more impressive in person and looks good in all colors. Online photos usually show in red, silver, and black. I was able to see white diamond, blue, and a variety of others and quite honestly, the car looks great in all of them. Many times the online pictures dont do it justice. The interior was the best I've ever seen in a GM vehicle. All the controls seemed to be a higher quality material than whats been used before and the motorized navigation screen that raises out of the dashboard is simply awesome. I was probably most impressed with everyone at the factory that was committed to building the highest quality Cadillac ever. I briefly met the plant manager who was standing guard at the end of the production line personally inspecting each and every CTS as they were completed; checking gaps, fit and finish, etc... I may only be a sample size of one and am probably biased as my '08 CTS will be delivered in a couple weeks, but I think Motor Trend called it right when they said this car is, "the best sedan the U.S. has ever built".

Jeff!
Why do you have to post something like this! It's bad enough that the rest of us have to wait three more weeks before we can even see one let alone sit in one and then we have to endure a post like yours.
I'm a V buyer and I already want one so bad I can't stand it. I know exactly what's going to happen. I'm going to go to the dealership, "just to look." They're going to have a red one sitting on the showroom floor. I will die inside. I've got to have one now! I can't wait!!!!I can see myself trying to make any kind of a deal to get it till the Vs arrive.
The saleman will look into my eyes. He will see that my pupils are dialated. He will smile.
I'm lost.

Thanks for the great review. I can't wait to see it in person to decide if this should be our next family vehicle.
Looking for Bold American Style and this car seems in the photos to fit the bill.
Thanks again
