Thank you for creating a fantastic car. I just took delivery of a factory ordered CTS DI with the Manual Transmission. As you know, that combo comes with the Summer Tire Package including the FE3 suspension. My 2004 CTS was a great car, but the refinement on this car is incredible. I test drove Acura, Infiniti, Lexus, BMW MB, and even a 350Z. My CTS stopped and handled better. I love the power and control the car has. The CTS-V will be the new benchmark. I cannot wait for the next rabbit your team will pull out of it's hat. Thanks again!

Ed,
Welcome to this esteemed group. After reading your bio, I recall a question asked before in this forum. As the former manager of a suspension team at GM, I'm sure you have heard of or perhaps even experienced the Bose suspension system. Cadillac obviously has a long history with the Bose brand in high end stereo systems. Can you comment on whether GM will be the first to adapt their suspension system on a future Cadillac? What better technology to truly elevate Cadillac to an elite status among all luxury and performance brands!

This is feedback from a recent test drive of a 2008 CTS by my wife and I. We both liked the car a lot, but had a couple of things that would ideally be changed:
1. I'm ~ 6'3" and found that my forward vision to the right is blocked by the inside rear view mirror; it's too low. Ideally, it could be moved (or angled) higher up and out of my line of sight.
2. There needs to be ~1" more room to the right of the driver's right knee.
3. The top of the head rests tilt forward, and my wife found that this caused an uncomfortable head angle with her hair in a ponytail.
btw - we also test drove a Lexus IS 350 (from the same dealer where we bought our Lexus) right after the CTS. My wife and I both preferred the CTS overall!
cheers
David
