Remember when Cadillac was known for really dynamic exterior designs, but interiors that were not quite as excellent? Neither do we. The cabin of the Cadillac CTS-V has been selected as one of the finest interiors in the world.
CTS-V was selected as Best Brand Expression by Ward’s Auto.com, one of 11 cars honored across several categories.
Here’s what the experts at Ward’s had to say about it: “The all-new Cadillac CTS-V, with its intoxicating styling and angular instrument panel, wins a special-achievement award for Brand Expression. . . With a dizzying array of electronic gadgets, the 556-hp CTS-V is for the serious driver who craves equal amounts of performance and style.”

I knew GM had the ability to do world class interiors.
My problem is that people in the 15 to 30 thousand doller range are just as wantonly materialistic, as those in the $45 and up catagory, so they buy stuff like Rabbits and Mini’s intead of Cobalts.
Oh yeah and one more thing.
I’m usually a Machine lover and a Man hater, but………John Heinracy, I miss you all ready.
Please say that there are more like him at GM, If there are wireheads at GM like John was a motorhead….than Voltec is going to rule the WORLD.
The new Cadillacs are definitely beautiful, but I’ve always been partial to the old Classics myself.

Thanks for the comments. When you get a chance, also check out the interiors on some of the new stuff rolling out from the other brands. There are some pretty great interiors coming out in mainstream GM vehicles too.
Relative to John, we definitely miss him. But there are a lot of talented performance engineers and drivers at GM. You’ll get to meet some of them through this blog in the future.

I’ve always liked Cadillac interiors – especially in the mid to late 90s – but the new CTS interior is amazing! GM has really raised the bar in this area. The new LaCrosse (not out yet) has a REALLY nice interior as well.. The Enclave, the SRX – even the Malibu (minus NO soft surfaces) – very, very nice.. Nothing to be desired there – at all…
