Everybody’s got an opinion. Especially when it comes to cars and trucks. And with the very public controversies and debates ongoing in the auto industry these days, the opinions and punditry are at a fever pitch. But there’s one group whose opinions might be the most up-to-date and the most informed. That would be people who have bought new cars or trucks most recently. After all, they’ve done the shopping, paid the money and driven their new cars. So who do they think is doing the best job of satisfying customers?
A new study released today aims to answer that question, surveying the experiences of 25,000 car and truck buyers. The survey says…..Cadillac is the Top Brand in overall satisfaction. It’s the Vehicle Satisfaction Awards from AutoPacific, a nationwide (U.S.) survey of new car and truck owners.
The survey asks consumers to rate their total experience (product, customer service, etc.) in 48 separate categories. For the 2nd straight year, the survey finds that Cadillac owners are the most satisfied – outpolling Lexus, Mercedes and the others. Cadillac has been in the top five of this survey in all 13 years it has been conducted. Luxury SUV owners found Escalade the most satisfying vehicle in that segment, as well, in the new study.
