We received an honor today that makes us feel awfully good. So good, in fact, that we can’t help but share the news.
Today, CTS was named Motor Trend Car of the Year for 2008.
This is a particularly big honor in the auto industry. We all have our different tastes for the magazines we read or web sites we visit. It’s not about that. It’s about the heritage, expertise and rigor built into this specific award. They conduct a very exhaustive process to evaluate all the competitors (check out their site for the details) — something that we respect in particular, given that our daily job includes somewhat similar degrees of specific analysis.
It’s interesting to note that Cadillac won the very first Motor Trend Car of the Year award in 1949.
No, I wasn’t around for that one.
